Nail art polish basically looks like nail vanish but instead of a brush it has a real fine brush. You can also get pens where one end draws like little dots and the other has a fine brush. They avry slightly depending on make - but they are basically all for doing nail art details.
You can get sets of colours or idividual ones on ebay for really cheap

You need a good particle filtration system so that there isn't a lot of dust in the air. Also a clean towel underneath the hands because any cotton stuck on the towel will inevitably end up stuck to the nail polish which means you'll have to start over.

My Sally Hansen nail art pen is smudging and it's dry....?
i bought the the black nail art pen today and it worked really well! i used Milani Electric Pink as my bottom coat. but the box said to put on a cover coat after applying the nail art...but when i did the nail art smudged really bad so i had to take it off. is that happening with y'all too or is it just me? help me out ladies =)My Sally Hansen nail art pen is smudging and it's dry....?
you have to let it dry for a few hours. run your hands under a blow dryer if you have to. if it still smudges go with out the top coat.

I just got mine in the mail. I didn't get any special polishes because I saw on youtube other people have used their own. I knew they wouldn't be a s good and thick. Turns out they aren't working at all !!. Is it something I am doing? I spent alot of money on this now I am disappointed. I cant afford getting a bunch of polishes off the net now.

Does anyone have konad nail art set? And if they do, tell me if it is good and how it works (all about it)?
I have it and love it. It works very well. What you do is there are these plates with engravings of things like flowers and stuff. You put some nail polish on the engraving you like and use a scraper to scrape off the extra. Then there is this little pink thing, almost like a bouncy ball, but a little squishier. You put the pink thing over the engraving; you kind of roll it over. Then the nail polish design is on the pink thing, and you put the pink thing on your nail. Hope that wasn't too confusing!

Don't wear nail art and make up to school - it's silly, it's out of time and out of place. Schools are strict about these things because they know they are important. They don't want you to become a slave to junk culture while you are still so young.
Learn the lesson in this: it's a valuable one that you might be missing. Schools are not only about writing and maths. They are about education on the real world. Time and place... a valuable thing to learn, like balance and obeying regulations. When you do learn all this, then you'll be on the way to being an adult. Nail art or no nail art.

You can't get these in kolkata, that is india right? You need to get a very tiny brush, like the kinds they use in rajasthani style paintings. get one of these. this is perfect for nail art. Find an art store that sells art supplies. ask an art student where to get these. you also need a special paint too tho!

Hang art with a nail or a screw?
I recently purchased a framed art reproduction, it came with all the necessary hardware, accept for the actual nail or screw... so what should I use for a 20';x24'; heavy set framed oil painting...Hang art with a nail or a screw?
don't use a nail. especially in drywall. always use a plug and then a screw. and make sure that the screws/wire on the back (if they're not on yet) are 1/3 of the way down. also, if you have a wood frame and what to make sure that it doesn't warp (it will warp b/c its natural, it breathes and even in a living room, there is moisture), don't use wire. hang directly on the screws. its a little harder to hang, but trust me, once its done, it'll be more secure, and less likely to warp. if you're using wire, use wire in plastic. hope that helps.

There is a new little picture hanging wall mount in most hardware stores these days. It has a slightly burred nail going through a disc at about a 45 degree angle. It is all one piece and usually gold-toned metal. They work great and come in different sizes to hold different weight paintings.
Most importantly, consider using 2 of whatever you decide to hang with. It is much easier to level bigger paintings that way.

I believe all expression of the creative mind is art so i believe that nail art is trully art. Just think of all the time and effort needed in nail art. it takes true dedication, passion for your art and skill to achieve the results U want in nail art.

However if you consider pre-modern art when the academy dominated the discussion of art, aesthetics were indeed the predominate determining factor of whether something was considered art or not. Whether it is accepted as art is another thing though. Perhaps it is this discussion which is key to the modern artist. In the past it may have been enough for someone to pat you on the back and say good job, but todays artists are typically looking to evoke more of an emotional reaction. Of course this is not to say that pre modern artists didnt try to evoke emotions, because they certainly did, but not in the same way that todays artist challenge their audiences. Todays art especially post modern art is especially cerebral and challenging, and can be at times not aesthetic enough for some audiences who have a classical pre-modern perception of what art is.

However, could someone use nails to create great art, why not...modern art is not limited by the medium. To be art it doesnt have to be canvas or marble. Art is not about the medium more than it is about an idea or concept which is being relayed to an audience. Anyhow if you are looking to create great works of art on fingernails have at it, just be able to explain in great detail why you did it.

They work really well, but the feel of drawing on your nails takes awhile to get used to. As a nail tech. i think they are awesome. Just do them on one nail though and they will be fine. Be careful about applying a top coat over them because in some cases that causes them to shrink.

i painted my nails yellow then once they dried, i put red, dark blue, %26amp; purple sesame seed size dots on top of the yellow. then i just put a little bit of glittery nail polish over that. i've gotton compliments from almost everyone. its really pretty, too :) i hope i helped

I had a set years ago and I am looking to buy it again.
It consisted of some coloured powders, and what I had to do was dip a brush into the liquid that came in the set and then into the powder and then put that onto my nail to make pretty designs on my nails.

You just need regular white nail polish [paint that on your nail like normal] then get a thin brushed black nail polish used for nail art [the one you have should work fine] and just make lines vertically and horizontally and fill them in and it will look awesome! =]What kind of design should i paint on my nails? i just bought a nail art pen thing and i am just wondering.?

Were can I get the tiny wire things to clean out my nail art pens?

I keep seeing 3D nail art design by people using like a puddy, or even acrylic looking stuff. I want to know, what is is exactly? Can it be use on natural nails? How would I remove it if it is acrylic? Use top coats, base coats? Is there special stuff out there? Or is it just acrylics.3D nail art: how does it work?
